Dr. Moria Dolan, Executive Director for the Medical Accountability Network discusses the link between antidepressants medications and suicide, violence and school shootings.
Seung-hui Cho w/ the Virginia Tech massacre adds to a long list of incidents over the last 15 to 20 years including Columbine and Red Lake High,
She also discusses antidepressant drugs like like Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, Luvox, Celexa, Lexapro, Effexor or Wellbutrin.
These medications are known to cause adverse events which can contribute to violence such as hallucinations, agitation, emotional instability, violence, paranoia, etc.
These adverse events are clearly labeled on the FDA approved prescribing information leaflet for the medication. These labels often contain confusing medical terms and Dr. Dolan explains in plain English what these adverse events means.
Although the psychiatric advertising jargon of the chemical imbalance in the brain theory is widely promoted, Dr. Dolan points out that there are no biological markers for mental disorders. There are no physical tests done to measure someone's brain chemistry.
Depression is widely associated with the neurotransmitter serotonin however, there is no standard by which one can measure an abnormal serotonin level.
Additionally, SSRI (Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) as well as other psychiatric drugs show an affect in the brain during brain scans whereas psychiatric diagnosis don't.

Some side effects are very common; others only happen to a small percent of people. It's important that you know what they are so if you start to experience them you can contract you doctor immediately. It's also a good idea to know what the risk and benefits of a medication before you start taking it. This is known as informed consent.

The patients take anti-depressant drugs for only one purposes-feel normal.
BUT, it causes much more "SAD Effects" which including death of patient and others.

I just started taking anti-depressants after letting it out that I was contemplating suicide (even though I wasn't as depressed as I have been in the past) for the past few months. Are anti-depressants that bad? I must say, I'm alarmed by much of what's been said in these videos . . . will they turn me into a homocidal maniac without me knowing it? WTF?

Exactly.
Statistically, it could extremely rare, like one in a million or something. But that is all it takes to get a columbine or VA Tech.
I heard the VT madman was on anti-depressants.

Well fair enough, you can disagree but the FDA and the drug makers agree that they can contribute to violence. It says so right in the package insert. Of course the majority of people don't have that adverse reaction but it only take one person w/ a gun to ruin the day for a whole lot of people.

i dont agree that antidepressants make u violent but there is one thing i agree is that u could still get depressed even if ur taking antidepressants, only a minority of people who take antidepressants have no depression at all, the majority still get depressed, but less than b4, and im talking from experience

I am currently on the antidepressant cytolapram, but i'm slowly cutting it down at the moment. When I came off it fully I got really angry, and I smashed a plate on my brother's head. (He is a dick though).

According to Dr. Irving Kirsch in Prevention & Treatment "there is now unanimous agreement that the mean difference between response to SSRI antidepressant drugs and response to inert placebo is very small. It is so small that, despite sample sizes involving hundreds of participants, 57% of the SSRI trials funded by the pharmaceutical industry failed to show a significant difference between drug and placebo.
