I don't understand why people bash Bono for performing with Pavarotti. Pavarotti is the one who suggested that they perform together--he realized the attention it would bring to good causes. It's sad that people can't simply appreciate the fact that these two great performers are trying to contribute something to humanity. Bono is certainly aware that he is setting himself up for ridicule. He apparently has the strength of character to deal with it. I say bravo to both of them .

That doesn't even compare to the drubbing Pavarotti got from the operatic purists for "lowering himself and the music" by singing with Bono, James Brown, Barry White, Queen, and other "pop" stars. They felt he cheapened himself badly. So, I don't understand snobs in any case. There's only two kinds of music - good, and bad. Pavarotti did good music, and so did his friends. A lot of money was raised because he reached out to the pop stars, and because they answered the call.

Bono does a good job trying to keep up, but he's no Pavarotti. Then again, I can't see Pavarotti singing I Will Follow. To each his own I guess...

Lars should have spent less time in court and more time in the woodshed. He is the only drummer i know of that has gotten worse with age.

I love his drumming in the Metallica songs (mostly the albums because that's what I listen to primarily), but I don't see what's so unique or "difficult to follow" about it.

Oh yeah. Johnny Rabb is definitely more similar. It's just they way the apply those funk rolls and ghosts that reminds me of Morello. Other than that Morello is really doing something that's just his own thing so you can't really put him in the same category with anyone.

I've watched two of his videos so far. I don't think he's similar to Morello, rather to Johnny Rabb or Assaf Seewi. Currently, I kind of find all of them more interesting, but this KJ undoubtedly kicks some serious ass :)
