Every person who I have given this game to has asked this same question and they laugh at me, give up, and claim daggerfall "Suxorz" because it doesn't tell them what to do the way Oblivion and Morrowind do. In other words, the game expects you to listen to what Brisienna tells you and use your own mind to figure it out. It doesn't hold your hand the way Oblivion and morrowind do.
