narmvygunner ::: Favorites I remember standing on that exact same runway... i could tell that it wasn't just a normal runway, it had energy surging through it, from memorials of fallen soldiers to the lives of those borne across it's steel plates, to servicemembers going home on leave, fresh in country, or just heading out on some R&R. Not just a concrete slab. Something as simple as a runway, holds large significance among those who've been there.
