galaxyrainguy ::: Favorites I certainly miss the maestro, he was incredible as a pianist and musician, I met him twice when very young,I was not even a teenager when i met him, we discussed mozart,( I had just recorded a solo version of Piano concerto #23 and the B flat sonata k.333 and we had a pleasant talk on the tone and attitude i used, and the rubato i used, he asked me if i used molybdenum on my strings(which i did, ,.i remember Mr. Horowitz ,ps, this is a true story, although i shall not give my name. 07-08-19 14:59:20 _____________________________________________________
Aegir85 ::: Favorites Also can't imagine how he managed to play with such a precision and speed. Playing piano and keyboard too, but I'm just playing and also composing own works, but what Horowitz did, was not only playing, it was feeling, it was dreaming and it's still a kind of beloved heart-ache in me. To anyone who listens to synthetic music like techno etc.: This instrument with the right player on it shows why techno etc. is more than regrettable. Sorry for discrediting, but I HAD TO say THAT! 07-08-15 12:35:30 _____________________________________________________
abhikmazumder ::: Favorites Amazing! What touch! wonder how he generates such speed and dynamics with his wrist hanging below the level of the keys! 07-08-14 11:27:34 _____________________________________________________

3NUNS ::: Favorites One of Bach's pupils noted JSB's organ registration and Beethoven's pupil Karl Czerny made mental notes at least of Beethoven's interpretation of his own sonatas and of Beethoven's tempi and dynamics of the Bach fugues. 07-07-31 04:28:06 _____________________________________________________
