ciscotie ::: Favorites Beautiful piece of hollywood action packed car chase. I saw this movie way back in 1975 on the big screen and I remember a bunch of girls sitting in front of us screaming and yelling as the camera took us along a filled pack of excellent driving skills from both the bad guys and the good guy (Rod that is). I felt kind of frustrated when Rod finally crash his Ventura without catching up with the criminals. Score 10. Thanks for the memories. 07-09-22 03:56:02 __________________________________________________
markie909 ::: Favorites This car chase scene was even more great on the big screen when I saw this on a double bill feature with JAWS, since both starred Roy Schneider! This was circa 1975. Now it's fun to look at this and see all the cool old 70's era Detroit iron pushed to the max! Still great fun to watch. 07-09-19 17:42:47 __________________________________________________
rickr442 ::: Favorites Both this and Bullitt make great use of the different size cars in the chase. Here the Ventura barely pecks at the side of the TANK... er, I mean Grand Ville as they run along the guardrails. The Mustang finally gets a good hit on the Charger in Bullitt at the end. Great, (& first),high speed car chase choreography... 07-09-15 22:35:06 __________________________________________________
kapenamax ::: Favorites They stole the sound of the brown chase car from Bullitt. You can actually hear the double-clutching sometimes, but the brown car is automatic... 07-09-10 05:02:36 __________________________________________________

fernmann7 ::: Favorites The driver, Bill hickman, who also drove in Bullitt, was in the trailer behind James Dean when he crashed his Porsche back in the mid 50s. Boy, that guy sure could drive. 07-09-05 07:40:11 __________________________________________________
