She is good but more like a straight singer the likes of Eydie Gorme who can sing jazzy standards.Ella,in my humble opinion is the only legitimate jazz singer naturally given the ear and voice for synchopated phrasing and vocalizing. She never lost it till her dot age. Listen well to this song Misty and feel the natural syncopation both in lyric phrasing and vocals. Unbelievable!!! Thanks!!
