Description:

(thefullmonte.com) In the months before the war The Bush administration controlled headlines with political and diplomatic pressure, while Saddam Hussein strung along the weapons inspectors with the international media in tow. The American public rarely saw the Iraqi people on television. In an apparent attempt to affect the media, CODEPINK was granted Visas. And from the streets of Baghdad CODE PINK hoped to attract the media's attention to the fate of the Iraqi people. While numerous cameras showed up at CODEPINK's colorful demonstrations, the message did not get home. Filmmakers: Aaron Rockett and John Monte

But peace at what price? We can have peace tomorrow by appeasing and have the terrorist take control of Iraq and Afghanistan again. They can dictate surrender terms to us and we must accept to have peace. That is peace at any price, and that a very high price to pay.

i somewhat agree with you. while we can argue the morality of this until the cows come home, the main goal is peace. while they are anti-war protesters they are unofficially supporting saddam's regime by helping keep him in power. like i said, this can be argued indefinitely. i applaud their efforts for the good they tried to do though...

What astound me are the people that wish to surrender or appease the Islamic -fascist. My grandfather could see Hitler was about and left Germany to come to America during the depression, but the nuts that can't see the terrorist for what they are the same as Neville Chamberlain. Similar groups today rail against Bush trying to bring peace and stability to Iraq but say nothing against any of the Islamic-fasist that commit horrendous acts to bring about a world-wide Islamic state.

Thank you Code Pink for speaking for the silent and the silenced. The Iraqi people have suffered so severely and so needlessly because of the deception of this administration. We will be haunted by the knowledge that we have been led by liars and traitors who are responsible for this crime. Your attempts to bring peace are valiant. Keep up the work.
