Description: Mohammad Amin al-Husayni (ca. 1895 - July 4, 1974, أمين الحسيني alternatively spelt al-Husseini) the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, was an Arab nationalist and a Muslim leader in Palestine and Egypt. Known for his anti-Zionism,anti-Jewish stance al-Husayni fought against the establishment of a Jewish state in the territory of the British Mandate of Palestine.
