siegeism ::: Favorites 2008-01-06 18:08:15 I just stumbled upon this after ordering a language book from Amazon. This is the first comment I have ever written on You Tube as most of the comments descend into pathetic comments and slagging people off. It's a pleasure to find someone using technology and their own time to share their language and culture with the world. I agree with another poster - If you podcasted this I'd be up for downloading it. Thanks for this it's awesome. Xie Xie __________________________________________________
carpediem4utube ::: Favorites 2008-01-03 20:01:08 That's awsome! Writing is definitely much much harder since the structure of the character is so different. Cheers! __________________________________________________
Juggler01213 ::: Favorites 2008-01-03 00:16:58 Ive been learning chinese for 7 years now and I still count write those characters off by heart. But Im good at reading and talking and listening __________________________________________________
carpediem4utube ::: Favorites 2007-12-31 15:31:35 You know what, we are very largely a product of our upbringing. I adore dogs and cats as pets - I've lived with both and loved them eaqually (not a particular dog or cat person). As far as I know breeding dogs for food is still a practice in China (there are "dog farms" just like they have "rabbit farms" here - I suppose rabbit lovers would be horrified by the notion). Again, as far as I know cats are rarely consumed in most of China. __________________________________________________

carpediem4utube ::: Favorites 2007-12-30 18:32:40 I know, I know, I can't believe I'm so technically deprepit either. New Year's resolution = modernize! ;-p __________________________________________________
nstanosheck ::: Favorites 2007-12-30 14:59:53 You should make these in to a PodCast that people can subscribe to via Itunes and watch this on their iPods. Very good teaching videos. Thank you so very much for them! __________________________________________________
johntofva2000 ::: Favorites 2007-12-30 10:46:27 Thanks for taking your time to make these videos for us. __________________________________________________
supersporkspank ::: Favorites 2007-12-24 16:12:18 祝你節日快樂! Is that better? Simplified characters are generally used in mainland China; traditional characters are generally used in Taiwan. Since carpediem4utube used simplified characters in her video, I did the same on this message board. :\ __________________________________________________
lovehinanarutofan ::: Favorites 2007-12-24 16:02:51 simplified characters suck :P __________________________________________________
