In fact, one of the 13 "Articles of Faith" of the LDS Church says: "We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God." By using both the Bible and the Book of Mormon together, Mormons hope to come closer to their Savior, Jesus Christ. |
