Technology well before it's time. I wonder if HIVA was anything like ATLANTIS.

It is explained later near the end of the series that Hiva and Atlantis existed at the same time at opposite ends of the world and were in conflict with each other.

As far as I know a dvd boxed set was released in France were the show was produced and it's very rare It appears on ebay every so often If you put in a request a seller may contact you Be warned though the boxed set is'nt available in english and most of the time on ebay it's just been down loaded and burned onto a few discs by the seller You'd probably be better off doing the same thing

i found a place on where i bought the dvd from a seller. it was all of the episodes burned from the disc. i had second thoughts at first. but when i got the package. it looked as if i just bought it from the store. the cost was $20.00, but it was well worth it. thanks though tully :D

16th Century people piloting a ship which is similar as any modern ship today and they have no clue about it. There minds are to primitive to fully understand a ship like that, Tao maybe the only one to be able to understand it.

Oh boy, another person looking for historic confirmation. Insulting an actual culture based on a fictional CARTOON is ignorant. Just enjoy the pretty colors and save the inspectional questions for the History Channel.

It's a cartoon! A story for children ie not real And a good story at that so just sit back and take it at face value thinking too deep only ruins it
