PDR work done right is not easy and while some of these tricks posted may work in some cases, it doens't work in all cases.....just look at some of the videos where people post their dissappointment because they have no clue about how to work metal. There's a science and an art to it that not everyone is capable.

Not all body shops are rip offs. That's like saying all YouTubers that end their names in "2001" are automatically stupid. Our shop has a PDR guy we use on a regular basis to keep from having to paint panels we don't want to paint. We repair vehicles in our shop in ways to keep diminished value down as much as possible. The less you paint the better. It benefits the consumer to keep repairs as small as possible.

wow, you figure that out all by yourself? I've only been doing collision repairs for over 25 years so I think I'm anything but stupid. All this does is warp the metal again but doesn't completely cause the dent to disappear. Yeah it might make it look "better" (depending on your idea of better) but in the end the dent doesn't disappear in this video. I'd rather pay a PDR pro to do the job right than raise people's expectations that the dent will be 100% gone. (100% is my idea of better)

stupid, that's what paintless dent repair is for. the liquid cO2 is for removing the huge dent that would otherwise be a big pain in the ass to get rid of.

just got done trying it... didn't work. Then I punched the side and it popped out haha. My dent wasn't a pinhole and didn't have a crease in it either. I think it's just hit or miss with this technique.

Still, tiny dent by the light. Still, a dent on the body line, and near light. The paint is probadly damaged.
