ianonline ::: Favorites Then why is it so easy to open it up? On Macbook Pro you can upgrade the memory without voiding the warranty. What you cannot do is upgrade anything else, that requires a certified Apple technician. As for the amount of Ram, anything above 3GB will not make a noticeable difference to almost all softare.
