tobiasaurusrex ::: Favorites Not a tsunami, this is Laird Hamilton surfing Waimeia Bay, which breaks like this one or two times a year. Teahapu, "Mavericks" in Half Moon Bay, Cali, and some other spots around the world, including the Atlantic (near Portugal is one) have breaks like this under the correct conditions. keithleffler ::: Favorites The camera angle for the first 0:35 makes it look bigger, before the wave breaks. I'm guessing the break is 30' or 40'. Tow-in surfing with a jetski is done off the Oregon coast and other places occasionally. And the waves really are that big. 07-09-09 14:56:39 __________________________________________________
